DESCRIPTION:Do films have the power to break barriers\, open minds\, and transform lives? Discover the answer at the Africa Film Series\, hosted by Dr. Obidoa and sponsored by the Africana Studies Program and Quad Works. On November 20\, students\, faculty\, staff\, and the public are welcome to join us in Stetson 251 as we watch and discuss “Sara’s Notebook\,” a film about the effects that the conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo have on a woman trying to find her lost sister. Extra credit can be earned for diverse programs. Delicious refreshments will be served!
