SUMMARY:Africa Film Studies
DESCRIPTION:Do films have the power to break barriers\, open minds\, and transform lives? Discover the answer during this month’s Africa Film Studies\, hosted by Dr. Obidoa and sponsored by the Africana Studies Program. On February 22\, we will dive into this question: what do refugees really need? All students\, faculty\, staff\, and the public are invited to join us in Stetson Hall\, room 251\, as we watch and discuss “The Good Lie\,” a film which explores the journey of Sudanese orphans and survivors from refugee camps to the United States. Hope to see you there!
