DESCRIPTION:Mercer students\, faculty\, staff\, and alumni are invited to a moderated conversation with Dr. Beverly Tatum on Mercer’s Macon campus. The conversation will include dialogue on Tatum’s award-winning book Why are all the Black Kids Sitting Together in the Cafeteria?\nMasks are required. Social distancing must be maintained. The first 100 in-person attendees will receive an autographed copy!!!!!!\nAt 4:45 p.m.\, Willingham Auditorium will be open for those attending the event in person.\nAt 5:30-6:45 p.m.\, we will reaffirm our commitment to racial equality and justice for all people with a moderated conversation between Dr. Tatum and Dr. Ansley Booker\, Office of Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives.\nWe have set the maximum number allowed inside Willingham Auditorium to 120 total (below the social distance guidelines) and require registration to enter that space: https://form.jotform.com/210346031657146
