SUMMARY:Data Management in SQL - Basic
DESCRIPTION:The primary goal of this program is to learn principles and practices of database management and database design with Structured Query Language (SQL). The journey begins with an exploration of conceptual data modeling\, relational database design\, normalization\, and SQL queries\, where you’ll discover various methods for analyzing\, manipulating\, and extracting insights from data. Building on this foundation\, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the theory\, application and management of relational database technology. The program concludes with an extension to big data analytics\, ensuring you are prepared to handle vast and complex data sets. By mastering how to approach and solve business challenges through data organization and manipulation\, you’ll be equipped to apply your knowledge within your organization and beyond\, distinguishing yourself in today’s competitive business environment. This program utilizes a hands-on approach with practical problems used as theory reinforcement. \nData Management in SQL (Basic) \nAt every level within an organization\, interacting with databases has become a common task\, often essential for generating meaningful analytics. In this basic course\, you will discover how datasets can be explored and manipulated using Structured Query Language (SQL). The course will cover topics including an overview of the relational data model\, understanding entities and relationships\, designing logical data models and database design using the process of normalization. We will also learn how to create basic SQL queries to manage and retrieve data within a relational database\, thereby yielding valuable insights and demonstrating best practices that you can apply directly to your role.
