Mercer faculty will focus on Civil Discourse in Higher Education and how to have powerful\, nuanced discussions that might engender differing/contrary\nperspectives. The interdisciplinary discussion will include personal and professional beliefs\, theories of knowledge acquisition\, and values as they relate to engaging in civil discourse.
