DESCRIPTION:2025 Keynote Speaker:\nLester Miller\nMayor of Macon \nFounders’ Day is a cherished tradition at Mercer. In celebration of Founders’ Day\, an esteemed alumni is invited to return to the University to share with current students\, staff\, and faculty their unique experiences at Mercer. This event is presented by the Heritage Life Committee of the Student Government Association. \nAll Macon Undergraduate classes will end and academic offices close at 9:55 am\, with classes resuming and offices reopening within ten (10) minutes following the ceremony so that everyone may attend. We understand certain offices cannot close during this time\, therefore department/unit managers are asked to arrange coverage for essential offices. Please contact Student Affairs (campus extension 2685\, off campus dial 478-301-2685) with questions or for additional information.
