SUMMARY:How Should AI Make Ethical Decisions?
DESCRIPTION:As part of Global Ethics Day\, the philosophy department presents a talk on AI Ethics by Dr. Tyler Cook\, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Philosophy at The Ohio State University. He recently obtained his PhD from Ohio State\, where he wrote a dissertation on machine ethics\, the area of AI ethics research that is concerned with questions regarding the design of ethical artificial intelligence. His current research builds on ideas from his dissertation\, and he is also interested in certain topics in meta- and normative ethics\, which have important connections to work in machine ethics.
