SUMMARY:Research Seminar Series
DESCRIPTION:Dr. David Mattson\, Georgia Research Alliance Eminent Scholar in Hypertension and Chair of the Department of Physiology at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University will be this month’s speaker. Dr. Mattson’s research examines the normal and pathophysiological regulation of renal function and arterial blood pressure\, with emphasis on paracrine\, autocrine\, and hormonal regulation of renal tubular and vascular function. His seminar\, entitled “Impact of Diet and Immunity on Hypertension and Renal End-Organ Damage” will be delivered via the Zoom link below from 3-4 pm on 11/5\, and all faculty\, students\, staff\, and alumni are cordially invited to attend.
