SUMMARY:Research Seminar Series: Dr. Juliane Nguyen
DESCRIPTION:Alumni\, students\, faculty\, staff\, and friends of the College of Pharmacy are invited to attend the March 4 COP Research Seminar Series. \nThis month’s speaker will be Dr. Juliane Nguyen\, Professor and Vice Chair for the Division of Pharmacoengineering and Molecular Pharmaceutics at the Eshelman School of Pharmacy at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Dr. Nguyen’s research combines approaches in pharmaceutical sciences\, molecular engineering\, and bioinformatics to develop novel personalized biotherapies for cancer\, inflammatory diseases\, and heart disease. Her work has been published in high-impact journals\, including Nature Communications\, Nature Biotechnology\, Advanced Functional Materials\, and Biomaterials\, amongst others\, and she oversees research projects totaling more than $21M. \nHer seminar\, entitled “Sticky Solutions: Engineering Retention for Enhanced Therapeutic Efficacy\,” will be delivered via the Zoom link below from 3-4 pm on 3/4\, and all faculty\, students\, staff\, and alumni are cordially invited to attend.
