SUMMARY:Tips for Faculty to Improve Group Discussion and Group Work
DESCRIPTION:Attend this session to learn specific techniques you can use to improve your in and out-of-class student groups. This is a Zoom session. Group work can be affected by student personality type\, energy and tasks assigned. Specific strategies to improve group discussion will be presented\, including pre-reading\, brief in-class preparation work\, timing\, and more. Additionally\, longer-term group work will be addressed with the goal of improving student work over time in groups. Faculty members who attend the Zoom session will receive a Tips handout and their attendance will be added to Activity Insight.
