SUMMARY:Weed Wrangle at Rose Hill Cemetery
DESCRIPTION:Volunteers will engage in a rewarding afternoon of invasive plant removal at Rose Hill Cemetery in Macon with crews at the Oak Ridge section and main section. \nWe are partnering with the Georgia Native Plant Society on this statewide weed wrangle; other chapters across the state are hosting similar events. Historic Macon Foundation will also be a partner\, as they have a special interest in the Oak Ridge section of Rose Hill Cemetery. \nVolunteers will be asked to wear closed-toe shoes\, long sleeves and long pants\, bring water\, and also consider bringing sunscreen/bug-spray/hat if desired. \nVolunteers will meet in the CSC lobby at 2:00 pm on 02/15/26 to meet their site leaders\, receive directions\, and pick up any needed equipment.
