DESCRIPTION:Come join the Africana Studies Program for a movie night watching\, Skin! The event will be held Feb. 24 at 6:15 p.m. in STN 251. Face masks are required\, and the event will be socially distanced. \nThe purpose of this film series is to expose the Mercer Community to facts and features about Africa. This engagement will foster greater awareness and understanding of the continent in general. Students will build geographic awareness and critical consciousness relating to Africa as well as oral communication skills in discussing and conversing about the continent. The goal is to\nhelp prepare Mercer students for work and life in an increasingly globalizing world.
