SUMMARY:MerServe Sports Equipment Drive
DESCRIPTION:The youth engagement committee with MerServe will be holding a Sports Equipment Drive for school children in the Macon-Bibb community. This event is planned for the week of November 29th – December 3rd. MerServe encourages the student body along with faculty and staff to gather any sports equipment\, athletic clothing\, etc. over Thanksgiving break. When we return from break\, students will have the opportunity to drop these items off at the MerServe office from 8AM-5PM Monday through Friday. All donated items turned into the MerServe office during that week should be left on or beside the table. This office is located at Campus Life in the CSC.

SUMMARY:Fabian Center for Musical Excellence presents Canadian Brass
DESCRIPTION:The inaugural concert in the Fabian Center for Musical Excellence will feature Canadian Brass. This quintet has earned the distinction of “the world’s most famous brass group.” Masters of concert presentations\, Canadian Brass has developed a uniquely engaging stage presence and rapport with audiences. Their concert will show the full range from trademark Baroque and Dixieland tunes to new compositions and arrangements created especially for them – from formal classical presentation to music served up with lively dialogue and theatrical effects. The hallmark of any Canadian Brass performance is entertainment. \nThis event is free and open to the public\, however\, tickets are required.
