DESCRIPTION:Ward Stare\, conductor \nThe season concludes with the winner of the Townsend School of Music Concerto competition\, along with Beethoven’s Symphony No. 2 and Macon hip-hop artist\, Bob Lennon. Written just after losing his hearing\, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 2 was composed during one of the most depressed times of his life\, but Beethoven shows little sign of his obvious despair and end with an explosive finale.
