SUMMARY:What to do about ChatGPT?
DESCRIPTION:ChatGPT\, powered by OpenAI\, is a text generation tool/search engine powered by artificial intelligence. ChatGPT is capable of generating quality text that could be used as the body of papers and essays. Plagiarism checkers like Turnitin do not catch text from ChatGPT since such text has not been published before. This workshop will discuss preliminary observations about these tools and ways to structure assignments that deter students from using them.
