DESCRIPTION:With the first football game coming up on Saturday\, Aug. 26\, Wild Wing Cafe’ will once again be the location for Mercer fans to gather for the Drew Cronic Coach’s Show. Each week\, host Rick Cameron\, the Voice of the Bears\, and Head Coach Drew Cronic will preview the upcoming game and welcome to the stage guests from the Bears’ football team and supporters from the community. \nThe Bears kick off the 2023 season at the FCS Kickoff Classic on Saturday (Aug. 26) in Montgomery\, Ala.\, against the University of North Alabama. The game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN at 3:30 p.m. and on the Mercer Sports Network (The Creek and Sportsmic) with the radio pregame show beginning at 2:30 p.m. The University is sponsoring a bus trip to the game for interested students.
