SUMMARY:Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certificate Program
DESCRIPTION:Learn to improve productivity and processes through this foundational Lean Six Sigma training. This course will cover key tools and concepts such as the Define\, Measure\, Analyze\, Improve\, and Control (DMAIC) methodology\, data collection and measurement techniques\, how to display visual data\, lean analysis tools (including fishbone diagram\, 5 Why’s\, 5 S’s\, Gemba Walk\, and Poka-Yoke)\, brainstorming and option selection criteria\, process improvement results assessment\, documentation\, and introduction to Six Sigma leadership and cultural approaches. This introductory course is designed for employees at any organizational level. All program participants will receive a Mercer University certificate of completion.

SUMMARY:Living the Dream MLK Day Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Mercer University will commemorate the memory of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with its annual Living the Dream march and program on Friday in Macon. The march will begin at 3:30 p.m. at the bear statue in front of the University Center and proceed to Willet Science Center. A program featuring Warner Robins Mayor LaRhonda W. Patrick as the keynote speaker will follow at 4 p.m. in Willet Auditorium. Free T-shirts will be given to the first 100 registered students to arrive at the bear statue at 3 p.m.
