SUMMARY:Macon Music Half Marathon
DESCRIPTION:The second annual Macon Music Half Marathon will be held on Saturday\, Nov. 16\, and part of the race course will take runners through the Macon campus. The course highlights the musical and cultural heritage of Macon including the McDuffie Center for Strings.  The race begins at Carolyn Crayton Park at 8 a.m. and should be completed by 11:30 a.m. During the race\, certain roads and intersections will be closed\, including College Street\, Mercer University Drive\, and Little Richard Penniman Boulevard. The race is organized by the Macon Tracks Running Club and Mercer is a sponsor.

DESCRIPTION:McEachern Art Center (the MAC) presents a series of diptych photographs by Stephanie Sutton that aims to tell a story about the artist’s food choices in “FOODFACE.” The show will run through Nov. 16. \nFeaturing 99 photos and video installations\, “FOODFACE” records the last thing Sutton ate and her face each day. Sutton is currently an assistant professor in photography and expanded media at Winthrop University in South Carolina. \nThe MAC is located at 332 2nd Street\, Macon and has regular operating hours Thursday-Saturday from 4-8 p.m. Admission is always free and open to the public.
