DESCRIPTION:October 3-November 23 \nDotan Appelbaum: Severe Optimism \nMcEachern Art Center\, open Thurs.-Sat. 4 p.m.-8 p.m. \nSevere Optimism is an exhibition of new work by artist\, maker\, and writer Dotan Appelbaum. This body of work reflects on the life and ideas of 19th-century English designer and craftsman William Morris\, reconsidering their meaning in today’s world. For Morris\, design was a way to make sense of the Industrial Revolution and its impact on labor\, modes of making\, and the built environment. As society now undergoes a digital industrial revolution\, these concerns remain urgent. Opening reception October 3 at 6 p.m.

DESCRIPTION:Calling ALL BEARS!!! MU Motion Moves presents Bear Factor\, a fundraising talent show to show case “beary” best talent roaming the (Bear) Den! The show will be Friday\, November 21st\, 2025 at 7 PM in Toney Auditorium (Willingham). Your club/organization/team can perform a dance\, skit\, or spoken word piece. Students will be charged $5 or 5 canned goods for entry. All money proceeds will go towards MU Motion Moves club fund. All canned goods will go towards a local food drive/homeless shelter to help them prepare for Thanksgiving. There will be a live audience voting format. The top 3 clubs/organizations/teams will receive a trophy and prize. Thank you for signing up! We hope to see you there!
