DESCRIPTION:Established by Mr. Bert Bevins\, former county commissioner\, the garden is named in honor of his grandmother\, who had a deep love for gardening. \nVolunteers will be clearing plant beds and pulling weeds. They will also be planting some fall seeds for the butterflies! \nVolunteers will be asked to wear closed-toe shoes and cool clothing\, bring water\, and also consider bringing sunscreen/bug-spray/hat if desired. \nVolunteers will be meeting in the CSC lobby at 3:30 pm\, where they will meet their site leaders and receive directions\, as well as any needed equipment. Please make sure to come appropriately dressed and on time since we will be leaving promptly after.
