Bio:
Jayla Moody is a 2019 Mercer University graduate with majors in journalism and global development studies. While at Mercer, she was committed to just about any role that allowed her to pour into other students. She served on the student admissions team, the peer advisor team, the Mercer Cluster editorial staff, and so much more. She has since completed her master’s degree at Georgia State University in communications. Ever since she can remember, she’s been drawn to people and the amazing things they’re capable of doing. Jayla found that such a key part of her journey was walking hand in hand with others as they unlocked their joy and their purpose. She is is very passionate about development through leadership and mentorship. Her heart for service and her desire to help others grow to become the best version of themselves always bleeds through her work. Jayla hopes to someday work in a role that allows her to help others find their purpose. She is interested in using creative and innovative strategies to discover how people can marry who they are and the work they do.
