Workshop Description
This workshop aims to help educators, whether faculty or staff, see connections between their sense of professional purpose and the work of character education. The workshop will provide reflective and conversational space for attendees to express their values and aspirations as educators. It will also provide a speedy introduction to the learning goals and teaching methods of character methods, a character education 101 crash course. From there, attendees will chart next steps in deepening their individual practice as character educators and in imagining Mercer’s future character education endeavors.
