The College of Professional Advancement celebrates the academic achievements of students in the Department of Mathematics, Science, and Informatics in an induction ceremony into the computer science student honor society Upsilon Pi Epsilon (UPE). UPE is supported by the international professional organizations Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
The mission of the Department is to support students as they develop knowledge and skills to make a difference in communities, offer responsible and ethical solutions to real-world issues, and contribute to constructive change in the world.
