Center Distinguished Bassist Jeffrey Turner, known for his versatile career as an orchestral musician, chamber musician and teacher, brings his wealth of knowledge, joining forces with guest artist cellist Edward Arron, McDuffie Center Faculty and young artists for an evening of spectacular Czech music. From the lesser-known works of Martinu’s Duo for Violin and Cello No. 1 and the Songs of Josef Suk to the ever popular and loved Dvorak Bass Quintet, this evening’s program will bring you into this world of varied color palettes, sounds and emotions.

This year’s Fabian Concert Series beings a tour of music from six different countries, in six different concerts, over the span of the 2019-2020 season.
