A mini-film festival featuring Indigenous-made films to complement Macon’s Ocmulgee Indigenous Celebration.
Thursday, Sept. 14 at 7:30 p.m. – Bad Press, a documentary film about press freedom in the Muscogee Nation.
Friday, Sept. 15 at 12 p.m. – A lunch hour shorts block featuring a narrative love story Dead Bird Hearts and a sports documentary about women’s stickball, The Journey of Tiak Hikiya Ohoyo.
Friday, Sept. 15 at 7:30 p.m. – Fancy Dance, a narrative feature about a hustler trying to find her sister missing from the Seneca-Cayuga Reservation.
Saturday, Sept. 16 at 10:30 a.m. – This May Be the Last Time, a documentary story where star filmmaker Sterlin Harjo (Reservation Dogs) explores his own family’s history through hymns.
