We are pleased to announce that Dr. Jill Kolesar, PharmD, MS, FCCP, Dean of the College of Pharmacy and Professor and Jean Schmidt Chair in Drug Discovery at the University of Iowa will deliver the G. Van Greene Distinguished lectureship on March 25, 2026 from 11:00-12:00 in the AACC Auditorium.
Dr. Kolesar’s research focuses on precision medicine and oncology drug development. She has authored more than 450 abstracts, research articles, and book chapters, and has received more than $30 million in research funding from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and other sources as a principal investigator. In addition, she has 9 patents or patents pending and has founded two start-up companies, Helix Diagnostics and VesiCure Technologies, based on technologies developed in her laboratory. She also edits leading pharmacy textbooks, including Pharmacotherapy Principles and Practice, Top 300 Drug, Top 200 Injectables and Top 100 Over the Counter Medication Flash Cards.
