Guest composer Alan Schmitz is being honored for his 70th birthday in a concert of his solo/chamber music. Schmitz earned bachelor and master of music degrees from the University of New Mexico and his Ph.D. in music theory and composition from Rutgers University. Recordings of his music are available on PARMA Records’ Ravello Label.
