Dr. Jaime Clark-Soles, professor of New Testament, Altshuler Distinguished Teaching Professor, and director of the Baptist House of Studies at Perkins School of Theology, Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, will give three lectures on “The Agony, the Ecstasy, and the Ordinary: Experiencing God in the New Testament.”
Lecture 1, Tuesday, Feb. 11 at 11:00 am: A Touchy-Feely Bible? An Introduction to Experiencing God in the New Testament
Lecture 2, Tuesday, Feb. 11 at 7:30 pm: We Have this Treasure in Clay Jars: Experiencing God with Paul
Lecture 3, Wednesday, Feb. 12 at 10:10 am: The Word Became Flesh: Experiencing God with the Gospel of John
All lectures will be in Newton Chapel.
