$75The second annual Macon Music Half Marathon will be held on Saturday, Nov. 16, and part of the race course will take runners through the Macon campus. The course highlights the musical and cultural heritage of Macon including the McDuffie Center for Strings. The race begins at Carolyn Crayton Park at 8 a.m. and should be completed by 11:30 a.m. During the race, certain roads and intersections will be closed, including College Street, Mercer University Drive, and Little Richard Penniman Boulevard. The race is organized by the Macon Tracks Running Club and Mercer is a sponsor.
