Established by Mr. Bert Bevins, former county commissioner, the garden is named in honor of his grandmother, who had a deep love for gardening.
Volunteers will be clearing plant beds and pulling weeds.
Volunteers will be asked to wear closed-toe shoes, long sleeves and long pants, bring water, and also consider bringing sunscreen/bug-spray/hat if desired.
Volunteers will meet in the CSC lobby at 1:20 pm on 02/22/2026 for address info and to meet their site leaders, receive directions, and pick up any needed equipment. Please make sure to come appropriately dressed and on time, since we will be leaving promptly after.
