Speakers:
Dr. Nyaka NiiLampti is a licensed psychologist and currently the Vice President of Wellness and Clinical Services for the National Football League. In her role, she is responsible for implementing and expanding the Total Wellness platform, ensuring a holistic approach to the care of players and members of the NFL family.
Dr. Kensa Gunter is a licensed psychologist and certified mental performance coach. She currently serves as Director of Mind Health for the National Basketball Association and Women’s National Basketball Association. NBA Mind Health supports the mental well-being of the NBA, WNBA, G League, Basketball Africa League, and 2K League player, coach and referee communities.
Moderator:
Dr. Caroline Brackette is a licensed professional counselor and Professor of Counseling at Mercer University. She has experience as a professional football team clinician and provided mental health counseling to professional and elite athletes. She founded the Scholarship of Sport Initiatives Speaker Series to create opportunities to inspire collaboration among scholars and professionals interested in sport. The vision of the Scholarship of Sport Initiatives is to create opportunities that lead to engagement in scholarship centered around topics in sport.
