Thank you for your interest in Mercer’s Master of Arts in Teaching program! Our schools and districts are in need of transformational educators, and we commend you on beginning your journey to becoming a certified educator in Georgia. Mercer’s Tift College of Education is the largest private preparer of educators in the state of Georgia. Join us for a webinar to discuss our programs for initial teacher certification.

During this webinar, we will cover the certification rules in Georgia in general before taking a deep dive into Mercer’s MAT program. We look forward to chatting with you there about all that Mercer has to offer.

-MAT Tracks Offered: Elementary Ed, Middle Grades, Secondary, P-12.
-Delivery Method: 25/25/50 Blended Model. 25% on-campus, 25% virtual asynchronous, and 50% virtual synchronous.
-Start Dates (vary by location and track): January, March, May, August, October.
-Length of Completion: 16-24 months.
