Please join the College of Education with partners from Student Leadership Johns Creek and the Johns Creek Historical Society to visit the exhibit, “Same Storm, Different Boats: A Community Exhibit Documenting the Living History of the COVID-19 Pandemic.” High school students in Johns Creek, Georgia, engaged in document analysis strategies by examining the Library of Congress’ growing archive documenting the pandemic, then conducted their own local history research about the impact of COVID-19 on their community. Their findings, which include photographs, original artwork, and oral history interviews, will be on display. This exhibit is sponsored in part by the Library of Congress Teaching with Primary Sources Eastern Region Program, coordinated by Waynesburg University, and a Mercer University Office of the Provost Humanities Grant.
