Featuring our keynote speaker, Dr. Christina Edmondson, psychologist, Christian thinker, nominee for the NAACP Image Award, co-host of the award-winning Truth’s Table podcast, and co-author of Faithful Anti-racism: Moving Past Talk to Systemic Change (Intervarsity Press, 2022). As we pursue the beloved community, are Christians a help or a hindrance? What does the data say? What unique resources can Christianity offer those who long for racial justice and reconciliation?
Also welcoming special guest, Dr. Woody Register, historian and director of the Roberson Project on Slavery, Race, and Reconciliation at the University of the South in Sewanee, TN. He’ll lead our discussion of what schools, churches, and other faith-based institutions can do to reckon with the legacy of racism and inequality in our communities.
