Join NSBWM next Wednesday, March 11, from 5:45 to 6:45 PM in STN 251 for The Equity Gap, a discussion on the disproportional effects on black women in healthcare. This discussion will be led by Dr. Kedrick L. Williams, Associate Professor of Health Sciences at Middle Georgia State University and former Director of the Maternal Health Observership Summer Program at MUSM. We are honored to host Dr. Williams, who will lead a critical discussion on the systemic disparities and unique challenges Black women face within the healthcare system, as patients and professionals.
