The Turquoise Quartet, silver medalists at the 2023 Saint Paul String Quartet Competition, will present a recital on Monday, May 8 at 7:00 pm in the McCorkle Music Building’s Neva Langley Fickling Hall. The recital is part of the quartet’s preparation for the 2023 Fischoff Competition, the largest chamber music competition in the world. The group is comprised of students from the Robert McDuffie Center for Strings at Mercer: senior violinist Hayoung Choi, sophomore violinist Katrina Stroud, junior violist Carlos Walker, and senior cellist Juliana Moroz. The recital is free and open to the public.
