If you could wave a magic wand and fix one problem in your community, what would it be?
Since 2015, Mercer undergraduates on the Macon campus have been tackling this question via the Visionary Student Panel (VSP) program. Through VSP, students receive coaching to support their development of a 5-minute project pitch that addresses a real-world problem at a local or regional level. Following a public pitch showcase, participating students can apply for mini-grant funding from the Center for Engaged Learning. With continued coaching and mentorship, funded projects will be implemented during the 2023-24 academic year.
Join the Center for Engaged Learning on Tuesday, March 21st at 6pm in Willet Auditorium for the return of the VSP showcase. This year’s showcase will feature 8 Mercer students presenting 5 projects.
