Organist Jack Mitchener performs celebratory works by Bach, Dupré, Eben, Guilmant, Hailstork, Laurin, Lebègue, and Mendelssohn on the stunning new Desautels organ. Handcrafted near Montréal over three years by François Desautels, the instrument features mechanical key action, 27 voices, 34 ranks, and 1,693 pipes in a solid cherry case. A protégé of Hellmuth Wolff and Karl Wilhelm, Desautels brings old-world artistry to this magnificent new organ, an instrument built to inspire.
