Macon-Mercer Symphony Orchestra, Guest Conductor Thomas Wilkins
Amy Schwartz Moretti, Director of the Robert McDuffie Center for Strings at Mercer University and a member of the acclaimed Ehnes Quartet, is the featured soloist on the program, performing composer and Townsend School of Music faculty Christopher Schmitz’s "Violin Concerto and Symphony No. 1". The evening closes with Brahms’ masterpiece, "Symphony No. 2 in D Major".
