Soprano Caroline Cooke is an alumna of the Eastman School of Music, where she earned her Master’s degree in vocal performance and literature. Favorite past roles include Musetta (La bohème), Zerlina (Don Giovanni), Stella (Le dernier Sorcier), Meg March (Little Women: The Musical), and Belinda (Dido and Aeneas). Now in its 11th season, Seraph Brass was founded by trumpet soloist Mary Elizabeth Bowden with a mission to showcase the excellence of women brass players and highlight musicians from marginalized groups, both in personnel and in programming. Winners of the American Prize in Chamber Music, the group has been praised for their “beautiful sounds" (American Record Guide), "fine playing” (Gramophone), and “staggeringly high caliber of performance” (Textura).

The MAC presents Guilty Pleasures by Brittany Coburn, an exhibition that explores the vices, comforts, and coping mechanisms we carry with us as we navigate the complexities of living in the world we love.
