Under the direction of Dr. Monty Cole, the Mercer Jazz Ensemble explores the many shades of the Blues. This event is free and open to the public.

The season concludes with the Mercer University Concerto Competition Student Winner, as well as the artistic suite "Pictures at an Exhibition." Ravel's arrangements for large orchestra is the model of technical brilliance, creative vision, and thoughtfulness for Mussorgsky's original intent for the great piano work. Tickets are $25 for regular seats, $35 for premium seats, free for students of all ages with any valid student ID.

Townsend School of Music's Vocal Studies Area will perform the musical revue "It's a Grand Night for Singing" showcasing the gorgeous melodies and beautiful lyrics of Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II. The Mercer University Wind Ensemble will break into small chamber groups to present a concert in Macon's favorite outdoor hangout spot, The Society Garden, located at 2389 Ingleside Avenue in Macon, Georgia. Expect small groups of woodwinds, brass, and percussion to perform a variety of repertoire in a casual outdoor setting, bringing classical music to a wider audience!
