Welcome to Embody, an exhibition exploring what it means to inhabit a body in space. The works presented here examine the tension between the physical and the spiritual, beauty and rawness, memory and invention. Featuring eight seniors of the 2026 Mercer University Class of Art and Design, this exhibition approaches the body as both subject and vessel — personal, political, imagined and real. This event happens in partnership with the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention, and has occurred annually since 2020. It consists of a ceremony at the start with several speakers speaking about topics related to suicide prevention. Then all attendees will walk several miles around campus to show support.
