Need a mental health break? Come destress at Mindful Mercer's biweekly meetings. Meetings will include meditation, yoga, and mindful activities like painting or walking. Welcome to all, beginner friendly, for community & self-care. Meetings are Thursdays at 5 p.m. in front of the Tattnall Square Park Fountain. Bring a friend and something to sit on. This holiday tradition, hosted by the Student Government Association, annually draws hundreds of students as well as faculty, staff and their families to Toney Auditorium in Willingham Hall. The Mercer Singers lead the audience in carols, the University minister offers a Christmas meditation, and faculty/staff members entertain the audience with a traditional Christmas reading. The event concludes with the lighting of the Mercer Christmas tree and Winter Wonderland in the Village.

Mercer University will unveil a mural celebrating the beauty of the Macon campus during a brief ceremony in the University Center. The mural will be located across from Chick-fil-A. The event will include remarks from Mercer Executive Vice President Dr. Penny Elkins and a meet-and-greet with the artist, Erin Hawkins, owner of Mama Hawk Draws.
