Since the early 1900's, Mercer undergraduates have been making the 90-mile trip from Macon to Penfield to celebrate the founding of Mercer University. Pilgrimage to Penfield is an integral part of the Mercer freshman experience. Penfield, which is located in rural Greene County, was the home of Mercer from 1833-1871. Join the students of Theta Alpha Kappa, a national honor society recognizing student work in religious studies and theology, for a fun-filled evening in conjunction with the Lynn Holmes exhibit of Holy Land artifacts in the Tarver Library.
