The Mercer Pre-Dental Club will be having a general meeting to talk All About The Executive Board!! This is a great opportunity to learn about the positions, and apply to be a part of the board. Join us for the meeting on April 17th at 5:30pm in GSC 450.

Everyone is welcome to come and practice their Spanish through discussions, games and cultural events. All levels are welcome from beginners to native speakers. We will be meeting January 17th, January 31st, February 14th, February 28th, March 13th, March 27th, April 3rd, and April 17th.  Each meeting will be held at 6:00pm in CSC Conference Room 2. We hope to educate students about the health issue of 'lack of sleep' on campus. In order to do this, we will be passing out educational flyers on the health outcomes of poor sleep, make them do a short quiz by asking questions out loud, and if they get a certain amount of answers right, we will be passing out candy.

The final Third Thursday Reading Series event of the season will feature a tribute to Mercer Alumnus David Bottoms (Class of 1971), who served as the Poet Laureate of Georgia from 2002 to 2012. The evening will begin with a reading by the winners of the David Bottoms Prize for Poetry, which will be awarded to the Mercer University undergraduate students whose poems best exemplify Bottoms’ belief that poetry is “a search for consequence.”
