Mercer alumnus Mr. Alvin R. Blount, newly-appointed Reference and Instruction Librarian at Georgia State University, will perform works by Florence Price, C. M. Widor, Marianne Kim, and Calvin Taylor.

The students of Mercer University Opera present a delightful collection of one-act operas including La Divina and The Beautiful Bridegroom. Directed by Martha Malone with Music Direction by Richard Kosowski. All operas are sung in English and accompanied by an orchestra.

The Townsend School of Music is pleased to host Dr. Alexander Wasserman as part of the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) guest artist series. Dr. Wasserman, a Shigeru Kawai Artist, enjoys a distinguished career on both the concert stage and in the teaching studio. Kyung-A Yoo collaborates with guest clarinetist John Diodati and students on the astonishing Beethoven's piano trio. The program also includes Kalabis, Previn, and Schubert's gems. Mr. Diodati plays as principal clarinetist with Opera Philadelphia. The event is free and open to the public.
