The Mercer University Composition Studio will present several new and exciting works to the public. Come and enjoy a variety of sonic adventures for vocal, instrumental, and electronic media. This event is free and open to the public.

Produced by Dr. Kyung-A Yoo, selected keyboard players of the Townsend School of Music present an exciting program for 10, 20, and 40 fingers. This event is free and open to the public.

The April 9 concert will feature violinist Amy Schwartz Moretti, cellist Sihao He, and pianist Jeewon Park performing the Amy Beach Sonata for violin and piano Op. 34, Nadia Boulanger Three Pieces for cello and piano, and Schumann Piano Quintet.

Under the direction of Dr. Monty Cole, the Mercer Jazz Ensemble explores the many shades of the Blues. This event is free and open to the public.

The season concludes with the Mercer University Concerto Competition Student Winner, as well as the artistic suite "Pictures at an Exhibition." Ravel's arrangements for large orchestra is the model of technical brilliance, creative vision, and thoughtfulness for Mussorgsky's original intent for the great piano work. Townsend School of Music's Vocal Studies Area will perform the musical revue "It's a Grand Night for Singing" showcasing the gorgeous melodies and beautiful lyrics of Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II.
