The Brass Band and Wind Ensemble take the stage to perform major works in the repertoire. The Brass Band, the newest ensemble in the band area, will open the evening. The Wind Ensemble will perform James Barnes' Third Symphony, nicknamed "The Tragic," which explores the depths of despair then explodes with optimism and joy.
