This is sure to be a stunning season finale. The Wind Ensemble will perform Jocelyn Hagen’s Medusa which is a theatrical work for soprano and wind ensemble based on the famous Greek myth. This concert will also feature the winner of the Townsend Concerto Competition for Winds, Percussion, Piano, and Voice.

Curated by Artistic Director Amy Schwartz Moretti, the Fabian Concert Series continues to present chamber music at its highest level in the intimate setting of Fickling Hall. Internationally renowned guest artists play side-by-side with McDuffie faculty and students, bringing life to contemporary works as well as that of the old masters.

Every year, each of the Townsend School of Music's four Areas (instrumental, keyboard, strings, voice) chooses one student to perform at the Honors Recital. The students selected for this year are: Ted Babbitt, organ Alana Blankenship, soprano Michael Bloom, tuba Claire Draney, viola This recital is free and open to the public!

Choral Society of Middle Georgia and Mercer University Choir celebrate the 50th year of the Middle Georgia Choral Society.

Bixby Kennedy (Frisson, New York New Music Ensemble, Ensemble Connect: Carnegie Hall; Fabian Distinguished Artist at Mercer University) and Steven Beck (Juilliard; Da Capo Chamber Players; UMASS Amherst) present Celebration and Remembrance.
