This workshop explores the value of the humanities for students pursuing healthcare careers. Current and former Mercer students will share insights about how their humanities classes have honed their interests in medicine and prepared them for medical school. Dr. Carol Bokros will offer practical information about how to complete pre-med requirements alongside a humanities major. And a panel of CLAS faculty will share their experiences bringing the medical humanities into their own classrooms.
